Fung Tung Jung (34) and Fung Tung Jan (53) were both born blind, and every day they face unimaginable hardship. Living at the edge of a village, they rely on their sense of touch and memory to navigate their world.

They carry out daily tasks like cooking, bathing, and eating with the tools in their home, which have remained in the same place for years. However, their lives are filled with constant struggle, as they survive on the charity of neighbors and distant relatives.

The younger sibling occasionally works as a masseuse, earning a small income that he spends on food when a vegetable vendor passes by. Despite their best efforts, they still struggle to meet their basic needs.

The only water source for Fung Tung Jung and Fung Tung Jan is a pond behind their house, but it’s unsafe to drink. Despite this, it’s their only option for water.

They fear that the pond will dry up during the dry season, leaving them without access to water. When they fetch water, they rely solely on their sense of touch, as they cannot see. Since their house is at the edge of the village, they are isolated, and no one is nearby to help if something goes wrong.

Fung Tung Jung and Fung Tung Jan live in constant fear and uncertainty. Their basic needs are barely met, and their access to safe water is precarious. Let’s extend a hand and support to these two individuals who bravely navigate life despite their challenges.
